DASARA, which is also known as "Vijaya Dashami", is an extremely popular Hindu festival, which is celebrated all through the country with much fun fair and joy. It is observed on the tenth day of the bright half of Ashvin in the month of September - October.

The multihued Dasara fair is extremely well renowned. On the occassion of this favourable day, Lord Rama is worshipped, prayed and meditated upon in order to obtain his blessings and favour. It is joyous occasions in which people come together with much excitement and happiness to celebrate the festival.
